The Sarat Chandra Kagti Charitable Trust was established in 2017 with clearly defined objectives and criteria to channelize financial assistance and resources to support the most vulnerable and marginalized sections of society. Our trust is registered and exempted from Income Tax under Sections 11 & 12. We operate with utmost transparency and integrity, working diligently to create a positive impact in the live of those in greatest need.
At the core of our initiatives lies the commitment to work at the grassroots level, addressing issues that often go unnoticed by larger philanthropic organizations. We firmly believe in uplifting the North East Region of India, which has historically been underserved and deserves more attention and support.
Seek out and identify most needy individuals, groups and communities and reach out to them with financial support and other resources based on a compassionate and holistic appraisal of their critical requirements. The Trust has come to a position where it can better achieve its objectives by expanding and scaling up its operations across all the verticals it engages in. For this, the Trust solicits financial support in addition to its own income.
The legacy of Sarat Chandra Kagti led to the birthing of the Sarat Chandra Kagti Charitable Trust. Sarat Chandra Kagti had risen to the highest echelons of the civil service.
